Douglas Bay, Forward Harbour

We hoisted the sails as soon as we were clear of the bay. Winds in Johnstone Strait were 15 – 20 kts set for a perfect run. Wing on wing we sailed all day (5 hours) down Johnstone Strait, down Sunderland Channel dropping sails as we approached Forward Harbour.

We set anchor further up into the harbour this time. It was more a function of the depths and bottom conditions. We had so much crab on board Paul suggested we make crab cakes for dinner. We finished the night passage planning. Tomorrow we need to negotiate two sets of rapids as we transition into the Discovery Islands group
