The boat projects continue as we prepare for our departure in early May. We've had to convert small spaces in the condo to mini workshops. The companion way cover and slats were in need of a rework and Janet wanted to sew covers for all of the cushions. Not having any other place to do the work, our bedroom became the refinish shop for the companion way cover and the guest bedroom became the storage room for the interior cushions. A minor inconvenience, but all worked out in the end.
s/v Talos IV is a 37' Pacific Seacraft with a cutter rig and a shoal draft "Scheel Keel". Designed by the late Bill Crealock to be stable at sea, but without compromise to performance. She is a true blue water cruiser with a traditional cabin layout, making for comfortable onboard living. Top side she is a beautiful boat with a lot of finely finished teak and canvas.
